Czech carrier Smartwings inaugurated a new Brussels-Prague service on 26 October and, on 27 October 2025, confirmed the route will ramp up to twelve weekly flights for the winter timetable. Two daily rotations on weekdays (08:55 and 19:30 ex-BRU; 06:40 and 17:15 ex-PRG) plus weekend services shorten door-to-door times for Eurocrats, diplomats and tech-sector commuters between the EU capital and Central Europe.
The one-hour-30-minute hop competes directly with Brussels Airlines but offers lower ‘Lite’ fares from €150 return, one piece of 8 kg cabin baggage included.
