Sales Director Michal Váňa reports “demand well above expectations”, noting that introductory one-way fares start at CZK 1,850 (≈ €74) including an 8 kg cabin bag. The carrier is simultaneously hiking existing frequencies—Paris rises to thrice daily and Málaga to twelve per week—bringing the Smartwings winter portfolio to roughly 30 destinations.
For international assignees and business visitors, the new links eliminate lengthy transfers via Frankfurt or Amsterdam and give Prague-based companies faster access to Europe’s Mediterranean tech clusters in Catalonia and Lazio, as well as EU institutions in Brussels.
