Dubai-based LCC flydubai inaugurated a twice-weekly service to Chișinău on 26 October and issued its first operational update on 27 October, making the airline the only UAE carrier with nonstop flights to Moldova. The route uses Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft configured with both business and economy cabins and will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The new connection opens a direct mobility corridor for Moldovan professionals working in the UAE’s retail and hospitality sectors, who previously relied on multi-stop itineraries via Istanbul or Bucharest.
