Austria raises 2026 minimum-salary thresholds for Red-White-Red and EU Blue Cards

Effective 1 January 2026, Austria will increase the minimum-salary thresholds for all major work-permit categories. The Red-White-Red Card (key employee) rises to €3,225, the EU Blue Card to €3,678.57 and super-key-employee/LSD-BG exemption to €7,740. Employers must update budgets and renewal calculations immediately. Failure to meet the new figures will trigger application refusals or compliance findings.
