Lane closures on Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge link road may slow cross-border traffic until late June
From 11 May to 30 June 2026, one lane and the hard-shoulder on the Hong Kong Link Road section of the HZMB will be closed on weekdays for water-main works. The reduced capacity could lengthen drive times for private cars, coaches and logistics vehicles shuttling between Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao, so companies are advising travellers to budget extra time or use alternative crossings.
