Greek Embassy in Beijing ends use of external visa centres, requires in-person Schengen submissions

The Greek Embassy in Beijing announced on 19 May that, from 1 January 2027, all Schengen visa applications for its northern China jurisdiction must be lodged in person at the embassy rather than through outsourced Greek Visa Centres. The shift will reduce appointment capacity, increase lead times and reflects EU preparations for the new Entry/Exit System.
