Mobile Passport Control App Reaches 63 U.S. Ports Following Virgin Islands Roll-Out
CBP has expanded its free Mobile Passport Control app to 63 locations, adding three U.S. Virgin Islands airports and extending coverage to 38 U.S. airports, 14 preclearance sites, four seaports and four pedestrian crossings. The app lets eligible travelers file digital customs declarations and use expedited lanes, offering a no-cost alternative to Global Entry. The roll-out promises shorter lines for international business travelers and tourists alike and signals CBP’s continued push toward contactless, tech-enabled border processing.
