Tyrol green-lights eight-hour Brenner Pass blockade on 30 May

Tyrol’s administrative court has authorised a citizens’ protest that will shut the A13 Brenner motorway and side roads for up to eight hours on 30 May, halting the main north-south freight and tourist artery between Austria and Italy. The closure collides with the Pentecost holiday return rush and could paralyse logistics flows that carry 2.5 million lorries a year.
