Maritime workers at Grandi Navi Veloci will down tools for 24 hours from noon on 22 July, while bus drivers in Sardinia plan action on 25 July. Although Italian law mandates minimum services, past experience shows extensive delays and cancellations, especially on regional routes and low-cost flights. Business travellers should monitor carrier alerts, avoid tight connections, and consider flexible tickets.
