Dubai-based consultancy A&A Associate, in partnership with Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), launched a programme on 28 September promising to secure UAE investor residency in just five working days—cutting typical timelines by up to 80 %. Marketed to global entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals, the package bundles company incorporation, free-zone licence, immigration file creation, entry permit, medical test and Emirates ID in two streamlined phases. Phase 1 is handled remotely in three days; phase 2 requires a 48-hour visit to the UAE for biometrics and health screening. The all-inclusive fee is US$ 4,550 and covers up to ten licensed business activities. RAKEZ will host the registered entities, giving investors zero percent income tax, 0 % corporate tax on qualifying income and full profit repatriation—benefits that have kept northern-emirate free zones competitive against Dubai’s costlier options. For multinationals, the express residency could ease deployment of project managers and regional directors, allowing them to establish special-purpose vehicles and obtain residence status before tenders close. Family sponsorship add-ons mean executives can relocate spouses and children without delay, supporting talent retention. Immigration lawyers note that while the service complies with existing ICP regulations, applicants must still meet security-clearance criteria; the ‘five-day’ clock starts only after remote KYC checks are approved. Nevertheless, the product underscores the UAE’s race to offer ever-faster, customer-centric pathways to residency to stay ahead of rival hubs such as Singapore and Saudi Arabia.
