Corporate travel managers may need to secure block bookings or shift meetings online. Tourism Board officials argue that sustained event programming—from dragon-boat races to mega concerts—will help spread visitor flows. Yet labour unions say the hospitality sector still faces a 15 per cent staffing shortfall and are lobbying for expedited recruitment under the Labour Importation Scheme for Hotel Services.
