Dual Algerian-French nationals received welcome news on 26 October 2025: Algeria will keep its exceptional visa-free entry regime in place until 31 December 2025. For French employers, the move reduces risk that key staff visiting family in Algeria will be stranded by consular bottlenecks. Mobility managers should nevertheless verify that employees meet the ID requirements and plan return flights early, as seats historically sell out by July.
