Although the flight will make a same-plane technical stop in Wuhan, passengers retain a single boarding pass and through-checked baggage, eliminating the need for separate domestic legs via Shanghai or Guangzhou.

Mobility managers should note that Daxing Airport now runs a dedicated “FAST Lane” for passengers holding APEC Business Travel Cards and Chinese Talent Visas (Category R). Processing times at this lane averaged six minutes in January tests, compared with 18 minutes at Capital Airport’s T3.
The route also strengthens Wuhan’s position as a secondary transfer hub. Passengers may remain on board during the technical stop, but those entering Wuhan under visa-free-transit rules must hold confirmed onward tickets within 24 hours.
