While the overall CRS cut-off has inched lower from the 520s seen in late 2025, stakeholders caution that the score may not drop significantly unless IRCC releases larger-than-forecast quotas or slows down profile inflows. Practical take-aways for employers and foreign workers: those on expiring work permits should file Bridging Open Work Permit applications immediately after receiving an ITA to avoid status gaps; candidates hovering around CRS 500 are urged to update language scores, educational credential assessments, or obtain arranged employment points quickly, as even a few extra points can be decisive in upcoming rounds.
