ÖBB adds 6,600 seats and extra trains for Corpus-Christi travel surge
ÖBB is deploying extra carriages and special services between 3 and 7 June 2026, adding more than 6,600 seats to ease expected pressure on Austria’s rail network over the Corpus Christi long weekend. The move helps business travellers and tourists bypass road bottlenecks but may lengthen some journeys due to diversionary works.
