It urges motorists to postpone departures to Sunday where possible and to use real-time apps that integrate prefectural road-closure feeds. Professional freight is advised to avoid the RN21 and RN165 due to local bans around pilgrimage zones. Bison Futé’s colour coding is watched closely by leasing companies and relocation agents who schedule household-goods moves at weekends. An orange alert typically correlates with average delays of 45 minutes per 100 km on major axes. Corporate travellers should pad itineraries, especially when connecting to evening flights out of CDG or Orly. The agency also flags rail substitution buses on the Paris-Nantes line owing to engineering works; seats are sold out on several Friday evening services. Travellers without reservations may need to re-route via Lyon, adding three hours to journeys. Bison Futé will update its map at 18:00 daily; mobility managers should circulate the link to staff and consider flexible working policies for Monday in case return traffic spills over.
