A health-care-focused draw invited 100 candidates, all of whom had job offers from Alberta Health Services or provincially funded long-term-care facilities. AAIP continues to use occupation-specific draws to align with provincial talent-attraction priorities. Employers sponsoring foreign workers should ensure Alberta job-offer compliance, including demonstration of a settlement-plan component now required for Rural Renewal Stream endorsements. Given that AAIP nominations add 600 CRS points, candidates receiving Notifications of Interest must respond within two weeks—shorter than the 30-day window offered earlier this year. Mobility teams should pre-assemble documentation, including proof of funds and credential assessments, to capitalise on the expedited timelines.
