Quebec’s Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration (MIFI) released results on 25 September for Arrima draws conducted 24 September, issuing 519 invitations under four Programme de sélection des travailleurs qualifiés (PSTQ) streams. Invitations targeted AI and green-tech professionals with job offers outside the Montréal CMA, reinforcing the province’s regionalisation strategy. The largest share—310 candidates—came from the Regular Skilled Worker Program, where applicants with French proficiency level 7 or higher and validated offers received priority. A further 109 invitations were reserved for health-sector occupations, while 60 invitations went to candidates claiming points for regional settlement commitments. Selected applicants will now receive a request to submit documents for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ). Once a CSQ is granted, they can apply to IRCC for permanent residence. Employers outside Montréal should be prepared to provide settlement-support letters, as MIFI increasingly audits regional-employment claims. With Quebec’s 2026 immigration plan holding overall economic-class admissions steady, competition for Arrima invitations remains robust. Companies seeking to hire French-speaking talent are advised to align offers with in-demand NOC codes and encourage candidates to maintain accurate Arrima profiles to benefit from future occupation-specific rounds.
