Only vehicles with numbered accreditation stickers may enter, and pass-holders must clear security checkpoints manned by national police and the military’s Sentinelle force. Business travellers should anticipate knock-on effects: ride-hailing services are forbidden within the red zone, and taxi ranks at Gare du Nord have been temporarily relocated. Delegates attending conferences in La Plaine Saint-Denis are advised to switch to the RER D or walk 600 metres from the nearest metro stations outside the perimeter. Corporate shippers moving sensitive documents, such as visa originals or apostilled contracts, should opt for La Poste’s Chrono 13 service or schedule couriers for early morning when security queues are shorter. Time-critical pharmaceutical shipments may request police escorts subject to 48-hour prior approval. Normal traffic patterns are expected to resume after 06:00 on 29 September, but full parcel-backlog clearance could take until mid-week. Mobility managers should track consignments closely and plan for fallback digital document submission if originals fail to arrive on schedule.
