The organisers of Festuris Gramado, Latin America’s longest-running B2B tourism trade show, opened online accreditation on 18 June for its 38th edition, which will take place from 12-15 November. Travel agents, tour guides and accredited media can register free of charge via the event’s portal, while exhibitors and corporate buyers pay tiered fees. This year’s theme, “Real relationships that build the future”, responds to the post-pandemic shift toward digitalisation and artificial intelligence in travel. CEO Marta Rossi told Sortimentos that despite tech advances “people, their experiences and their connections remain the sector’s differentiator”. The programme will mix keynote stages on AI-driven distribution, carbon-tracking tools and destination digital twins with in-person matchmaking sessions expected to generate R$ 400 million in signed business, in line with last year’s results. For Brazilian DMCs and hotel chains the fair is a prime platform for contracting 2027 high season allotments, especially with the FIFA World Cup spotlighting the Americas tour circuit. International tourist boards from Portugal, Mexico and Qatar have already confirmed pavilions, leveraging recent visa facilitation measures with Brazil to court outbound travellers. Companies planning to send delegates should book accommodation early; Gramado’s room inventory is limited and prices spike during the event week. The organisers have secured discounted fares with two domestic airlines, but seats must be ticketed by 31 August. Festuris is accredited under the Federal Tourism Events Calendar, meaning foreign exhibitors can temporarily import promotional materials duty-free—an advantage for multinational mobility-service providers showcasing relocation and destination-services portfolios.
