The alert also raises logistical questions for freight and relocation shipments routed via the Gulf. Forwarders report that some airlines have imposed ad-hoc embargoes on lithium-battery cargo and household goods transiting Middle East hubs, forcing consignments onto longer Asia–Pacific routings. Mobility providers are advising clients to build extra lead-time into unaccompanied baggage and pet-relocation schedules.
