Czech PM backs Serbia’s path to Schengen, promising easier mobility for Czech investors
On 24 July Prime Minister Andrej Babiš pledged Czech support for Serbia’s eventual entry into the EU and the Schengen area, arguing that passport-free travel would benefit Czech investors active in the Western Balkans. The move could lead to pilot mobility corridors and faster movement of skilled workers between the two countries.
