Czech Republic Moves to Tighten Drone Restrictions Around Airports and Other Critical Sites
The Interior and Transport Ministries published a draft law on 22 July 2026 that would enlarge drone exclusion zones around Czech airports, power plants and other strategic assets and empower police and site operators to neutralise unauthorised UAVs. Commercial pilots will need a new critical-infrastructure permit and higher insurance, while foreign operators must clear Schengen security checks.
