‘Patriot Passports’ to Roll Out Nationwide at One-Day Events Next Month
The State Department will stage one-day events at all 27 U.S. passport agencies beginning in August to issue the limited-edition “Patriot Passport,” previously available only in Washington, D.C. The fully valid book commemorates America’s 250th anniversary and carries no extra fee, but quantities are limited. Business travelers may face additional manual inspections abroad until foreign border systems adjust to the new design.
