Travel wholesaler LiveToTravel launched its Flanders Roadshow on 28 September at the Van der Valk Hotel in Beveren, bringing together Belgian retail agents with destination boards and niche suppliers. The one-day programme mixed afternoon training, a networking dinner and a rotating supplier workshop featuring products from Tanzania, South Africa and Australia. Unlike conventional trade fairs, the roadshow focuses on small-group, interactive sessions designed to deepen product knowledge and help agents craft more personalised itineraries – a growing differentiator in a market where online self-booking has commoditised basic packages. Organisers said the concept is to “turn destination awareness into consultative selling power.” For corporate mobility managers and relocation providers, the event is a reminder that leisure market innovation can spill over into business travel. Suppliers showcased eco-luxury lodges that meet rising ESG requirements for executive retreats, and airlines highlighted blended-travel fare structures that align with extended overseas assignments. The roadshow moves to Ghent and Hasselt later this quarter before a grand finale in Brussels in November. Agents who missed Beveren can access slide decks and supplier contact lists via the LiveToTravel partner portal.
