The Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) Customer Portal has warned users that it will carry out essential maintenance on Tuesday 14 July 2026 between 10:00 and 14:00 Irish time. During the four-hour window applicants will be unable to create, update or submit EUTR 1/1A applications—the online route used by EU Treaty Rights beneficiaries for family reunification and residence cards. ISD says normal portal access for account creation, appointment booking and application tracking will resume once maintenance is complete. The outage will not affect urgent travel requests processed via e-mail, nor will it interrupt the separate online system for employment permit holders renewing IRP cards. While the downtime is short, advisers should flag the window to clients with tight filing deadlines, especially those aiming to lodge before travel. Drafts can be saved in advance but must be submitted outside the maintenance window to obtain a valid timestamp. ISD has also posted multilingual cookie-policy updates indicating forthcoming changes to its sign-in method, signalling continued modernisation of Ireland’s immigration tech stack.
