Film-production and last-mile-delivery firms must file alternative flight plans or risk enforcement action. For global-mobility managers the main takeaway is timing: delegates and support teams travelling via Dublin Airport will move under Garda motorcycle escort, which can briefly halt traffic on the M50/M1 corridor. Assignees arriving or departing on morning trans-Atlantic flights should allow at least an extra hour to clear potential congestion. Gardaí stress that all restrictions are “proportionate and temporary,” but real-time updates will be pushed via the @gardatraffic X (Twitter) account.
