The move underscores robust Sino-Australian demand in both tourism and resources-sector travel. Western Australia’s government has campaigned for additional Chinese capacity to support mining investment, while South Australia is targeting Chinese leisure visitors to its wine regions. Daily connectivity will make roster planning easier for FIFO (fly-in-fly-out) project teams rotating between Guangdong-based EPC contractors and Australian mine sites. It also provides Chinese corporates with same-day connections to secondary Australian cities via alliance partner Virgin Australia. Travel buyers should lock in early-bird corporate allotments before the new schedule opens for sale, as historical load-factors on China Southern’s Australia routes exceed 85 percent during Lunar New Year. Companies may also need to adjust per-diem rates: Perth hotel prices rose 18 percent year on year in the last summer peak.
