The launch follows government moves to digitise the Migration Department’s appointment system and to expand the Digital Nomad Visa quota from 500 to 1,000 permits in July 2026. Global mobility teams may find the portal useful for preliminary cost-of-living comparisons and regulatory timelines, but they should verify all immigration guidance against official sources; the Deputy Ministry of Migration warns that only accredited lawyers may provide paid immigration advice under Law 31(I)/2019. Early adopters report that the site’s tax-calculator widget correctly factors the upcoming 15 % global-minimum-tax rules for multinationals from 2027.
