Bus operators FlixBus and PKS Ukraina have suspended overnight services into Lviv until further notice, and courier firms DHL Express and InPost have re-routed same-day parcels through the Hrebenne/Rawa Ruska crossing, adding up to two hours in transit time. Insurance providers AIG and Allianz confirmed that the event meets the definition of an ‘increased risk circumstance’ under most corporate travel policies, enabling policy-holders to claim for trip-cancellation costs if travel was scheduled within 24 hours of the siren activation. However, exclusions may apply if the trip’s purpose was deemed non-essential. Although the alert was lifted within two hours, analysts expect more such disruptions as Ukraine’s counter-offensive pushes Russian forces to target logistics nodes closer to NATO territory.
