Airports in Umbria are unaffected, but business visitors relying on last-mile public transport from Perugia Airport should arrange taxis or car-hire in advance. The Ministry of Transport’s strike register shows a broader transport mobilisation scheduled for 26 September, covering multiple sectors from maritime to metro systems. Firms with time-sensitive operations should therefore revisit contingency plans for the remainder of the month. Although a regional action, today’s stoppage underlines Italy’s fragmented bargaining environment, where small unions can still disrupt mobility in secondary cities.
