Employers should, however, verify that Duty of Care apps push real-time alerts in Polish, English and Ukrainian, as required under the 2024 OSH amendment for cross-border workers. Aviation analysts note that Poland has scrambled fighters seven times since July 2026, a frequency that now forms part of ‘the new normal’ for carriers operating above 49°N/22°E.
