The delays also threaten cold-chain integrity for agri-food exporters; specialised carriers are advised to pre-book priority slots where available. The Border Guard updates queue data eight times daily, but variability is high. Mobility managers should integrate the portal’s API into TMS systems to automate rerouting decisions and communicate revised ETAs to customers.
