Snifox followed up its decision-list guide with fresh analytics on 15 October, compiling more than 69,000 visa decisions issued so far in 2026. The numbers show that approval rates differ dramatically by location: applications decided in New Delhi were approved 84.6 % of the time, whereas those handled by the Dublin Visa Office scraped in at just 48.5 %. Abuja fared similarly low at 48 %, while Ankara, Beijing and Abu Dhabi all exceeded 80 %. Month-by-month data suggest that New Delhi’s approval rate has trended down since July, falling to 72.4 % over the most recent 30 days despite record decision volumes (over 6,000 in September). Conversely, Abuja improved from roughly 42 % in early summer to nearly 58 % in September, hinting at operational tweaks or evolving applicant profiles. Because the public lists do not state whether a decision relates to visit, study or work visas, Snifox cautions against drawing firm conclusions about fairness. Still, the figures provide a rare evidence base for applicants and advisers deciding where to lodge an application—for example, whether to file in Istanbul rather than return to Nigeria for biometrics, or to route an intra-company transfer through Beijing. The disparities will add to pressure on the Department of Foreign Affairs to publish more granular statistics when it rolls out the planned e-Visa platform. In the interim, corporate mobility managers may use the data as an early-warning indicator and coach assignees accordingly.
