Dubai-based travel-management firm Trip Station updated its multi-destination advisory portal on 23 October, detailing new flight cancellations, carrier suspensions and airspace warnings that affect the itineraries of UAE residents. The bulletin consolidates notices from more than 25 airlines and eight foreign ministries. Key points include Air Arabia’s extension of route-wide cancellations to Malé, Baku, Kuwait and Doha; Etihad’s Saudi suspension through 5 November; and the EU Aviation Safety Agency’s recommendation to avoid Gulf waters airspace below FL260 until 16 November. The advisory also flags continuing entry bans on travellers who have recently visited Ebola-affected African states – a measure still enforced at UAE airports. Trip Station’s tool is widely used by SMEs lacking in-house travel-risk teams. The 23 October refresh adds a ‘last-updated’ time-stamp on every route note, allowing corporates to audit whether employees checked the latest information before departure – a compliance safeguard under ISO 31030 travel-risk guidelines. With winter travel demand rising, the firm warns that re-accommodation inventory is tightening fast, especially on Europe–Dubai trunk routes where Lufthansa and SWISS have capped load-factors on early return flights to build operational resilience. It urges travellers to purchase change-flexible fares, keep at least 90 minutes connection time on itineraries requiring a change of aircraft, and buy insurance that covers war and terrorism-related delays. Trip Station says it will issue the next consolidated update on 26 October unless a ‘major aviation security development’ triggers an interim alert.
