Eurostar’s flash promotion offering 50 % off one-way adult fares in Eurostar Plus and Eurostar Premier classes is due to expire at 23:59 CEST on 13 July. The sale covers travel dates from 28 July to 23 September 2026 and requires a minimum of two travellers per booking. Although billed primarily at leisure passengers, the deep discount has immediate implications for corporate mobility budgets: a mid-week return in Premium can now be booked for under €190, compared with the typical €380 walk-up rate. Several Belgian multinational travel managers told The Assistant they are encouraging employees to pre-purchase blocks of fully-flexible tickets before the deadline to lock in savings ahead of the busy late-summer conference season. The promotion coincides with the UK’s Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) rollout, which already applies to Belgian passport holders. Eurostar’s Brussels terminal reports that more than 60 % of passengers are now using the carrier’s online “SmartCheck” biometric enrolment, reducing border-control dwell time to under 10 minutes even at peak periods. Eurostar says capacity on its Brussels–London route is running at 94 % of 2019 levels and that additional Friday evening services have been added in August. Travellers booking sale tickets still earn full Club Eurostar reward points, and corporate clients signed to the Business Premier Flex programme can combine sale fares with existing volume rebates. Companies should remind staff that cancellation or date changes on sale tickets revert to the underlying Eurostar Plus or Premier conditions, which carry a €40 amendment fee after the promotion window closes. Seats are expected to sell out rapidly in the final hours, so immediate action is advised.
