From a mobility-programme standpoint the main impact is additional due diligence. Several Fortune 500 employers told GMN they have temporarily elevated the UAE’s internal travel-risk rating from ‘low’ to ‘moderate’, triggering pre-trip briefings and mandatory itinerary registration for all inbound assignees and visitors. Insurers also remind HR managers to verify war-risk exclusions in corporate travel-insurance policies, as some providers restrict cover within 100 kilometres of active hostilities even when flights operate normally.
