A second AusVisa briefing released on 18 October summarises the full schedule of fee increases that took effect on 1 July, ranging from a 6% rise for Visitor visas to 12% for permanent Employer Nomination (subclass 186) applications. Using Federal Register of Legislation reference F2026L00874, the post provides old-vs-new tables and a calculator for budget forecasting. For corporate mobility budgets, the main hit is the subclass 482 Skills in Demand visa, up A$220 to A$2,910 for the short-term stream. Family sponsorship fees also inch higher, adding A$380 to partner-visa charges already approaching A$9,000. Companies with large rotational assignee populations should update cost-projections immediately and consider filing group applications before further indexation on 1 January.
