GDRFA-Dubai has rolled out ‘Domestic Workers Management,’ a fully integrated e-service that condenses 11 legacy procedures into six and merges nine separate workflows—ranging from work permits and medical tests to Emirates ID issuance—into a single payment and application journey. The platform has already processed 10,813 transactions, eliminating more than 25,000 paper documents, saving residents AED 4.3 million, and cutting 72.5 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. Customers now make a maximum of two physical visits instead of six and can monitor progress via the DubaiNow super-app. Lieutenant-General Mohammed Al Marri said the upgrade demonstrates “genuine collaboration” among ICP, MoHRE, Digital Dubai and Dubai Health. For household-staff recruiters and families, the streamlined process means faster onboarding, fewer compliance gaps and lower courier costs. Corporate relocation teams may also use the same rails for nanny or driver sponsorships tied to expatriate packages.
