Comprehensive 2026 visa-fee table released for UAE immigration transactions
Dubai-based compliance firm KPM Global has published an updated reference chart detailing government fees for more than 60 immigration transactions processed via the General Directorate of Residency & Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) and the ICP. The table, dated 25 July 2026, covers fee changes that took effect on 1 July following the federal budget review. Headline adjustments include a AED 100 increase in residency-visa stamping for mainland employers, new AED 150 smart-services surcharges on status-change applications and a streamlined AED 50 rate for cancelling dependent visas online. Golden-Visa pre-approval assessment remains free, but issuance of the 10-year permit continues to cost AED 2 790 excluding medical tests. For mobility programmes, having a single, authoritative fee matrix simplifies cost projections and assignment budgeting. Finance teams can embed the table in payroll systems, while relocation vendors may need to re-quote service bundles that include disbursements paid on behalf of clients. KPM Global notes that free zones retain the right to levy additional facilitation charges; companies operating in multiple jurisdictions should therefore cross-check local schedules. The firm also advises budgeting an extra 5 %–10 % contingency to accommodate future ICP e-services enhancements expected later this year. The guide is downloadable in Excel and PDF formats and will be refreshed quarterly to capture further fee revisions or promotional discounts announced by authorities.
