Corporate sponsors that use postgraduate programs as feeder pools for graduate recruitment must also adjust. Without partner work-rights, students may face financial pressure, potentially influencing scholarship acceptance rates. HR teams are urged to revisit benefits packages and consider remote internships to maintain talent pipelines. While the policy will be introduced via regulation within weeks, migration lawyers expect transitional arrangements for students who have already paid deposits. Organisations relying on family-accompanied study leave should double-check the visa subclass and timing before flights are booked.
