Corporate travel managers are urging employees to pre-book rail connections and avoid peak arrival times between 15:00 and 20:00 on Friday. Logistics firms should pay special attention to temporary lorry bans (Sonntagsfahrverbot) and the “block release” system on the Austrian Inntal A93 corridor, where Tirol authorities meter heavy-goods traffic on specific weekdays. Missed delivery slots can trigger contractual penalties, so dispatchers may need to stage trucks at German depots and cross overnight.
