Poczta Polska and the Central IT Centre issued an urgent customer advisory on 22 July 2026 warning of planned maintenance that will temporarily disable the e-Doręczenia secure-delivery platform and may interrupt access to Poland’s Profil Zaufany digital-ID gateway. Service windows are scheduled for 20:00–02:00 on the nights of 25–26 July and 1–2 August, plus a separate outage on Sunday 26 July from 15:00 to 20:00. During these periods users may be unable to log in, submit electronic signatures or receive official correspondence. The notice is particularly relevant to foreign residents and visa applicants, many of whom rely on Profil Zaufany to file residence-permit extensions, register address changes and download work-permit decisions. Companies that onboard expatriate staff through Poland’s MOS (Foreigners Service Module) platform should avoid scheduling filings during the blackout and build contingency time into compliance calendars. Law firms recommend downloading stamped confirmation receipts in advance, as missing a statutory deadline due to IT maintenance does not automatically stop administrative time limits. The episode underlines the increasing dependence of Poland’s migration-administration system on digital identity. Mobility teams are advised to maintain scanned copies of all submissions and use qualified electronic signatures as a fallback when available.
