The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MPSV) quietly issued an important update to its flagship immigration-integration programme on 21 September 2026. A notice posted on the ministry’s “Aktuality” page informs beneficiaries of Call SC_25_001 – Social Integration of Foreign Nationals in the Czech Republic – that the mandatory project-monitoring questionnaire and its QR code have been replaced by a new, streamlined version. The change follows feedback from the 17 grantees who together share CZK 260 million in Swiss-Czech Cooperation funds. Project managers must now deploy the revised questionnaire immediately or risk breaching their grant conditions. Although administrative on the surface, the tweak matters for hundreds of foreign nationals who will rely on the programme’s mentoring, counselling and crisis-support services over the next two years. Accurate data collection is key: it feeds into national integration metrics used by the Ministry of the Interior when drafting migration policy and by regional authorities when allocating social-service budgets. By tightening its reporting template only three days after Version 4.0 of the grant handbook took effect (18 September), MPSV signals that it wants real-time evidence of what works – and what does not – in helping newcomers settle, find work and avoid social exclusion. The update also highlights the increasingly digital nature of Czech grant administration. All beneficiaries must migrate to the updated online form rather than submit paper annexes. For HR directors and mobility managers sponsoring employees under economic-migration schemes, this is a preview of things to come: from next year most integration-reporting obligations will move to the government’s unified e-Grants portal, tying residence-permit data, labour-office statistics and grant KPIs into one ecosystem. Practically, companies that co-operate with NGOs delivering SC_25_001 projects should make sure their transferees still receive uninterrupted support. Mobility vendors should also download the new questionnaire and brief staff on the changed data-fields (notably the addition of questions on digital-skills training and Czech-language e-learning uptake). Failure to do so may delay reimbursements or, in worst cases, trigger claw-backs. At a strategic level, the episode underlines how Czechia is professionalising immigrant-integration management. By coupling Swiss funding with stricter evidence-gathering, Prague aims to demonstrate measurable social-cohesion gains – an argument likely to influence the Senate’s discussion of the new Foreigners’ Residence Act later this year.
