Travellers enrolled in the Verified Traveller programme or Nexus continue to clear security up to 40 per cent faster than regular passengers—a data point mobility managers may leverage when updating travel policies. CATSA will publish its next update on July 21, but early indicators suggest the upward trajectory will persist through August’s peak holiday exodus and into September’s corporate-travel surge. Businesses should lock in critical travel sooner, explore virtual alternatives where possible, and remind employees to arrive earlier at departure airports to avoid missed connections.
