The legally binding pacts provide mutually agreed quotas and streamlined procedures for categories such as intra-corporate transferees, contractual service suppliers, researchers and students. According to the minister, more than five million clearances have already been issued on the government’s e-Migrate platform, and the new agreements will be layered on top of this digital infrastructure.
